About Security
How do I know the money in my Ecash account is safe?
Your account can only be accessed with a unique user name and password. All deposits are held in an FDIC or CDIC insured North American Bank.

How can I be sure someone else can't access my credit card information when I submit it in the Cashier?
The Good Luck Club utilizes encryption/decryption technology to protect all information sent over the Internet using CryptoLogic's proprietary security algorithm.

How can I be sure that no one else can hack into my account and withdraw my money?
All withdrawals are subject to PIN verification. For this reason, your PIN will not be transmitted to anyone via telephone, fax, or email. Your PIN is only sent to your registered mailing address after you place your first live bet in the casino.

Game Fairness
How can I be sure that your games are not unfairly biased in favor of the house?
Our casino would gain absolutely no advantage by running unfairly biased games. If that were the case, our players would easily recognize it and then spread the news about us through email, newsgroups, and message boards, and we would very quickly be out of business.

How do you determine which cards are drawn (dice thrown, numbers selected, etc.)?
The Good Luck Club utilizes a random number generator to produce sequences of numbers that correspond to various card types, dice throws, etc. Our random number generator is unpredictable, and is also evenly distributed and not correlated. Because it is unpredictable, you will not be able to predict the next number in a series no matter how many previously generated numbers your have studied. Since our random number generator is also evenly distributed and not correlated, each number will be hit approximately the same number of times after a large number of runs.

How do you prove your random number generator is unbiased?
We test the fairness of our random number generator by comparing a very long sequence of generated numbers to various statistical distributions. If any of these tests are found to be outside theoretical limits, the random number generator is not used. The current version of the random number generator was tested (and is continually tested) using a sequence of 300,000,000 (three hundred million) numbers to verify its randomness. Our random number generator has been tested for fairness by a certified accounting firm as well as Princeton University.

How do you test your games?
Each game at The Good Luck Club undergoes extensive testing. First, we imitate all possible situations and determine whether the rules are obeyed, payouts are properly paid, etc. Then the random number generator is added and tests are run with automated agents. For games that involve strategy (blackjack, poker, etc.) the optimal strategy is implemented, and for games of chance (red dog, baccarat, etc.) a random bet choice is implemented. Depending on the game, between 1 and 10 million bets are run. If the frequency of winning combinations and general payouts are within expectations, the game is passed to a Quality Assurance team of engineers who play that game to insure its flawless play. All games are tested on the real gaming server. Only when a game passes these tests will it be available to play.

What happens if I lose money due to a bug in the software?
If you believe there has been a malfunction in a game, please send us an email at, and your case will be investigated by CryptoLogic using the game logs of the server. If the investigation reveals that you have lost funds due to a bug, those losses will be immediately refunded.
