Important Information
All files names in this document refer to the full casino file from Canada (gl302ca.exe). If you download the lite version, an L will follow the number 302 in the file name (gl302Lca.exe). Also, if you download from our ftp site in Australia, the letters "au" will take the place of ca, following the number 302 or 302L (gl302au.exe).
To print: Select File and then Print from your browser's menu.

Installation Instructions for the Good Luck Club

 Step 1 For Netscape Users:   suggested: Click "Save"
Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, skip to Step 1 For Internet Explorer.

After you click on the Download Now button from the Download page of the casino, you will see a dialog box (Figure 1) asking where you wish to download the casino installer on to your hard drive. You can choose to save this file into a temporary folder/directory on your computer's hard drive, or you can save it to your Desktop. It is important that you remember where you stored the file; you'll need to go back to that location later! Recommended: We recommend that you save the file to your Desktop. To do so, click on the grey down-arrow across from "Save in:" and scroll up to Desktop.

Step 1 For Internet Explorer:   suggested: Choose "Save.." and Click OK
Instructions: If you are using Netscape, follow Step 1 For Netscape above.

After you click on the Download Now button from the Download page of the casino, you will see a dialog box (Figure 2) asking "What would you like to do with this file?". Select the Save this program to disk option and click the OK button. Select the location that you wish to save the file to (See Figure 1 above). The file will then download to your hard drive. Please be patient as this can take up to 60 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection. Recommended: We recommend that you save the file to your Desktop. To do so, click on the grey down-arrow across from "Save in:" and scroll up to Desktop.

Step 2:   suggested: Launch the download executable
Instructions: Now you need to minimize your Web browser and any other applications. Do this by clicking on the small grey minus sign at the upper right of the window (Figure 3). You should then see a gl302ca.exe icon on your desktop (Figure 4). Double click on the icon icon to begin the install. If you stored the download file somewhere other than your Desktop, go to your Start menu, click Run, then Browse to the file location and double click the file. Note: If you downloaded the lite version, the file name will be gl302Lca.exe.

Step 3:   suggested: Click "Setup"
Instructions: Click on Setup to begin the installation of the Good Luck Club (Figure 5).

Step 3b (for persons with a previous version of the casino):   suggested: Click "Yes"
Instructions: If you have a previous version of the casino installed, click yes to upgrade (Figure 6). By doing so, your account information will be stored for use with the new software. Thus, you will not need to re-register and create a new account (skip steps 12-15 of this installation guide).

Step 4 :   suggested: Click "Next"
Instructions: Click Next to continue with the Setup program (Figure 7). Recommended: It is strongly recommended that you exit all Windows programs before running the Setup program.

Step 5 :   suggested: Click "Yes"
Instructions: Read the Casino license agreement. Click Yes to continue with the Setup program (Figure 8).

Step 6 :   suggested: Click "Yes"
Instructions: Read the Ecash license agreement. Click Yes to continue with the Setup program (Figure 9).

Step 7:   suggested: Click "Next"
Instructions: The Choose Destination Location window allows you to choose a "destination folder" where the application will be loaded on your hard drive. You don't need to change the default setting, the Wizard will automatically install it in C:\Program Files\Good Luck Club. Click Next (Figure 10).

Step 8:   suggested: Click "Yes"
Instructions: You will be prompted to read the README file and launch the casino (Figure 11). Click to remove the checkmarks if you would not like to do so. Click Finish to continue.

Step 9:   suggested: Doubleclick on an icon
Instructions: If you choose not to launch the casino immediately, you will see two icons on your desktop. To play in Practice mode, double click on the Good Luck Club Practice icon. To play for real money, click on the Good Luck Club Online icon. If you do not see the Practice Casino icon on your desktop, go to your Start menu, click Programs, then Good Luck Club and then Practice Casino.

Step 10:   suggested: Enter Serial and Registration Numbers and click "Register my copy NOW!"
Instructions:

This step of the installation will register the product for you. You should have already received an e-mail message from serial@cryptologic.com containing your Serial and Registration Numbers. Is so, copy and paste these numbers in the appropriate fields, then click Register my Copoy NOW (Figure 13).

If you have not already received your Serial and Registration numbers, type your e-mail address in the box provided, click Request Numbers and check your e-mail in a few minutes (Figure 14). You will receive an e-mail message from serial@cryptologic.com containing the numbers that you need. Copy the numbers and paste them in the boxes provided. Then click the Register my Copy NOW! button (Figure 13). After doing so, the screen shown in Figure 15 will appear.

Step 11 (for persons upgrading their software):   suggested: Log in with your user name and password.
Instructions: If you upgraded from a previous version of the software, the casino installation is now complete and you do not need to complete steps 12-15. Simply log in to the casino with your user name and password and begin playing or close the casino program. Recommended: If you have not yet saved your username and password information onto a floppy disk, then you may do so now by clicking on the "User Info System" button. Step 13 has complete instructions on how to save your user information.

Step 11 (for new users):   suggested: Click the "Click here to register" button and complete entire form
Instructions: Click the "Click here to register" button (Figure 15) and complete the Registration form (Figure 16). Be sure to fill out all of the fields. This information will be kept strictly confidential. Failure to accurately complete this form may results in your removal from the Good Luck Club.

Step 12:   suggested: Complete entire form
Instructions: Please select a user name and a password. Your user name will be used to identify you to the Casino server and to other users of the Good Luck Club. Your real name and other registration information will be kept strictly confidential. You will require your user name and password each time you access the Good Luck Club, so make sure that you remember them. Your user name and password are case sensitive, so you must be sure to remember the correct upper and lower case letters that you originally enter.

Step 13:   suggested: Save your User Information
Instructions: You will now be prompted to save your "User Information". This feature allows you to restore your user account information if necessary, in case of a computer crash. It also lets you access the same account from several computers, provided that you install the casino software on all of them. Note: you cannot play simultaneously from several computers with the same user account. To activate this feature, insert a floppy disk into either drive A:\ or drive B:\ and click Save Now. If you don't want this feature, click Skip. You can always save your information later. Recommended: Is it strongly recommended that you save your user infomation to a floppy disk when prompted.

Step 14:   suggested: Click "Play to Wager"
Instructions: Congratulations! You have successfully installed the casino software. At this point you can either click on Play to Wager or Play to Learn. If you select Play to Learn you will not connect to the gaming server -- no real money will be wagered in Practice Mode.
